Yesterday was Catholic School's Week Open House at school. Grace had an assignment to write a letter to her Mom and Dad about why her Catholic school was important to her. It gives some insight on her opinion of school in general andI thought I would share...
"Dear Mom and Dad
Thank you for sending me to School. I am very fortunate that I can learn about and live my faith. Since it's a Catholic School we go to a school Mass and have religion classes. I can also live my faith because we can speak freely about God.
Another thing I like about XXXXXXX is that it's a giant Catholic School. Because of that I don't have to switch school after Fifth Grace and lose some of my friends because the went to a different junior high. In addition to that we all get lockers and have enough classrooms to have an art room, a library and a computer lab.
I also like how I have so many friends here. Even if some are not in my class, I can still hang out with them at recess. I also can do after school activities with them, like how I'm going to do track with Abigail.
One more thing I like about XXXXXX is that I can do sports. You don't have to try out so once you sign up you're on the team. I would like to do track because it would help me with my vault in gymnastics. Thank you again.
Love, Grace"
Molly gave an oral report for Black History month while I was there. Her report was on Ida B. Wells. She did an excellent job...
